Apply IPO using SBI Net Banking ASBA

Prereq :

If you are applying IPO for the first type from SBI Internet banking, then you should first get your Name and details registered.

Below are the steps or the guidelines for applying to an IPO using ASBA of SBI internet banking. In this blog, you will get your answer to the question

Let's Start...your IPO Application...!

Step 1: Log in to your SBI Internet banking and click E-Services as shown in the below screenshot

Step 2: Click on the option Demat & ASBA for applying an IPO which is running

Step 3: Click on IPO (Equity/Rights)

Step 4: Following page appears then Accept as shown in the below image.

Step 5: Select the IPO which you want to apply and hit the GO button.

Step 6: Select the Category also know as an investor type as Individual.

Step 7: After selecting the category the IPO details will appear.

Step 8: I hope you have already registered as an ASBA applicant in SBI internet banking.
Simply click on Select Registered applicant, and then select your registered details from the dialog box which will open.

After selecting it, the Registered applicant details, the Applicant name, PAN, Confirm PAN, and transaction type will appear as previously filled while registering.

Step 9: Entering the details like Quantity and Price for applying.

Tip: 

Generally, if you think that the IPO is gonna oversubscribed, then you should go for the cutoff Price.

For doing so,

Click on Cutoff Checkbox, Price will appear as you have selected cutoff Price.

then write the quantity you wish to apply for.

Submit once completed.

Step 10: Check and Confirm the details on the below page, the quantity, Price, and the Total Bid Value because this will be blocked for 7-8 days.  Click on Confirm.

There may be OTP coming on your registered mobile depending upon your security settings.

Step 11: On Successful Application, the below page will appear and give you a confirmation on Lien status.

Congratulation you have applied for this IPO...!
